Is Sanchez already done?
honest question here...
Does the QB HAVE to be a leader? does Sanchez have enough juice and faith of others in the lockeroom to act like one? does he need to have a monster season in order to be able to step to veteran guys when the time is right? Does he just need to stop making mistakes and not nessesarely have a big statistical year? Can he win us a SB, and be JUST ONE OF THE GUYS? was thinking about it today, listening to NFL radio...curious what people think. |

Yes, his career is over. Tanny should do the smart thing and cut him, and just eat the contract.

Wow, another one of those questions where no one here has the right answer, just an opinion based on nothing really.

There's one answer. I'll say, no he's fine and all will be fine. Those are the only real options. Are we done now? :D |

Thats not enough. Sanchez, once free, COULD go to the Pats and become an All-World HOF'er there. Really, death is the only smart option. Perhaps even nuke him from orbit. It's the only way to be sure. |

Physically, Sanchez is fine.
He is probably fine from a knowledge of the position/playbook perspective. Mentally? His on field demeanor suggests a confidence problem. Players see that in an instant. Is he a leader? Not as of yet. The good news is a non leader CAN BECOME a leader. There is really no alternative. Tebow is a good add on and a good change of pace but not a replacement (yet). |
