Right up there with Ewing and Mattingly as all-time New York losers. .
Agree completely. Not sure if this was designed to upset me or show that you finally get it.

Methinks Mets/Jets/Islander fans have it a wee bit worse than Yankees/Jets/Rangers fans, mate.

I got my championships in 1969--the first year I ever started watching baseball and 1986 was possibly my favorite team ever. I got all my Devil's Cups, and my 2003 NCAA hoop Championship with Syracuse and about 10 NCAA lax Championships. And the 69 Jets were some of my first memories in sports.

I got mine. The rest is just entertainment, nothing to get too exercised about. Sometimes you just can't help it if you emotionally attached yourself as a kid to a franchise that ends up losing more than they win. Kind of like the Rangers.

I would like on more Jet SB, though.

Not a king, arguably just the greatest of all time.

"I think winning against [the Rangers] on the big stage, not just for me, but I think for the fans of New Jersey, the people that are supporting us and always taking a second seat to these guys for whatever reason, now they got to be pretty happy going to work and going to school and doing all their things that they do," Brodeur said.

The "King" stuff needs to stop now.

Hank played great but in the end, he spit the bit in games 5,6 along with Richard, Gabby and DZ. The truly great ones hand-deliver those games to their team. Very good goalie, not a great one.

Marty > Hank.

The old man was motivated by Hank's presence/attention-getting and rose to the challenge. Marty is a truly great one.

But, Kreider is going to be a BEAST.

I have always admired Marty. If he was a Ranger he would be treated like Jeter.

But he is not the GOAT.

The Devils really are a wonderfully run organization. Too bad their fan base is so small.

I am a Ranger fan, but I take my hat off to them.

The fan base isn't that small. We're not the Islanders. In comparison to the Rangers the fan base is small only because the Rangers are one of the original 6 hockey teams. The Devils have only been around 30 years. That's only around a generation and a half of people in the area. We have a lot of fans for a team that has only been around that long.

Going to be a fun Stanley Cup. The entire country will fawn over the LA Kings just like they did for the Red Wings in 1995. Watch the Devils win the Stanley Cup.

They keep winning and that will change.
This organization is smart and knows how to build a team.
They have a lot of you core young talent, are 4 lines deep and built for playoff hockey.

Can't wait to hear the excuses from Boomer and Ranger fans next week.
Lundquist is the better goalie, the Rangers are more talented at all positions, this Ranger team has more character, the ghost of '94, blah, blah, blah...
In the end it went down exactly as most of us Devil fans thought it would.

I think it's awesome that a 6 and 8 seed are playing for the cup.

My Panthers took the Devs to game 7 double ot..oh they had chances..oh well good year anyway.

Congrats Devils

NHL playoffs so much better then the boring NBA playoffs.Im getting sick of the NBA again

Really, people still care about hockey outside of Canada, Detroit and Philly? Go figure.
