Doesnt matter, the true fans know who they are.
Same thing will happen when the Jets win the SB.....no big deal.

Real fans know in their heart who they are as do the people closest to them.

Go Devils!!! The Jets of the NHL.
The Rangers were like the Giants and the Devils like the Jets.
Just in the series it was all about the MIGHTY RANGERS.
The intermission reports were all about what the Rangers didnt do to play better...barely any credit was given to what the Devils were doing.
Just like when the Jets play the Pats....its not about what the Jets do right but about what the Pats did wrong. No credit to the Jets.

When i was a kid and was introduced to hockey, when someone told me it was "football" on ice, more hard hitting, I said, Impossible!!.

I had three choices....Islanders, Rangers and newly named Devils who had just been moved to NJ.
Islanders didnt sound like a coool name, Rangers were red, white and blue.....NY Giants, Patriots and Bills colors...YAWN!!!!!!!! So i picked the Devils.

Exorcising the demons of 1994 was so damn satisfying last night.
Bring on LA who already are the media darlings in these finals.

I laugh when people compare the number of Devils fans to the multitude of Rangers fans, as if the fans get to vote like on american idol, that who ever gets the most votes goes to the next round despite what the scoreboard displays.
Anyways GO DEVILS!!!

GO JETS!!!

This SG3 guy is incredibly jealous of the Devils. Give me a 400 person parade in Newark and Ill be there. Your just mad that we have 3 (with the chance of 4) stanley cups since the rangers won there last one. RANGERS SUCK. IMHO the devils have the best GM in any sport and they are my saving grace for being a jets fan.

Yea because if you walked around any part of NJ you would see a lot of people in 95, 00, 03 tshirts and hats walking around. But clearly the Devils dont have any fan base, we just a much better hockey team then the rags.

If he hurries he might be able to catch Mess with the 50 greatest moments at MSG. Being a goalie myself, MR was excellent.

Gaborick was either injured all playoff long or he has just flat out lost it, nowhere near the player I saw when he was with Minny. I question his effort and desire. Big Time. Tough to get on Henrik. How many playoff shutouts did he have this year?
Spoken like a true Mets fan.

You realize Luis Castillo won a World Series with the Marlins, right?

Is Richards name listed as a Ranger on the Cup?

Kreider?!? What the hell has he ever won, he has been nothing but a failure his entire NHL career. You know why? Just like David Wright. No championships. Loser. Same for Del Zoto. Is his name on the Cup?

Gaborick injured? Sounds like excuses, dude.

Callahan plays no harder than David Wright and what do each of them have to show for it? No Stanley Cups, the losers.

And why is it tough to get on Henrik?

When it mattered most--he sh*t the bed.

Losers ALL.

You're a Met fan, right?

SAR, how am I doing?

So the number of fans makes a team great? Prob the most immature post ever on this site...
The Rangers suck the big one when it counts. Your "King" choked once again in the spotlight. I will be watching my team Wed night.... Enjoy your version of the movie Groundhogs Day, aka 1994....

Congratulations
Do you get your fan stats from the same source as you get that the Jets are sold out... Devils are a small market team, so what.. I live in NJ, you know where the Jets are located.

Enjoy those wonderful 1994 memories.... 5 cup finals for the Devils since 1994. That is what counts...
