1) Police presence is a crime deterrent.
2) If there's a problem it's not with having too many police officers, but rather, that a growing number of police officers throughout several regions of the country are grossly overpaid with pensions that take just 20 years to vest. |

But then again you are just using logic. Logic: a concept generally not understood by left leaners. BTW, let me build on your two points. Here in Charleston, the police have been using PROFILING. Yes, that's right. And they have really reduced crime. Of course, they don't call it profiling (the NAACP and all). "Strategic allocation of resourses". |
