Not that I have any taste or patience to get into this, for this, for example:

First, extortion such as this was not in any way common. What was common was Polish resistance members stealing from anyone and everyone, including Jews and their fellow Poles.

Second, the line claiming "only in Poland did bands of thugs and zealots make Jew-hunting a ‘profession'" is total and utter fantasy. In France, for example, there were massive amounts of Nazi Collaberation, far in excess of any other occupied nation. France, in the eyes of many historians I've read, was all but an agreeable Axis state after they were rolled, and despite have the largest millitary and population, put up one of the weakest (yet most glorified) resistences in the War. Poland, despite being raped from top to bottom in outright genocide (somethign France was never subjected to in the same ways), put up the fourth largest fighting force in WWII behind only the US, UK and USSR.

Without writing a wall of text, sure isolated incidents of bad things happened. That always happens, even now by US troops in Afghanistan, the supposed pinacle of "good" soldiery.

But to paint the Poles as somehow complicit in any way on any organized scale is offensive and counter-factual. One also must wonder, how easy it is to judge a country sitting between Nazi Germany and Communist USSR, spilt by the two, and then almost exterminated by the two.....from the warm comforts of Fortress USA. We Americans have no idea.

This kind of sillyness is the same as the idea that the the British Commandoes were inappropriate or that the US primarily won WWII. In point of fact, it was the Russians who defeated Nazu Germany more than us or the UK. The Western Front in WWII pales in comparison t the Eastern, and the horrors that occured there.

As for Jew hunters - we need to look no further than George Soros - a person who turned Jews over to Nazis for a bounty. "Hey, if I didn't do it someone else would have". He is a major Obama backer, of course.
