Curious?

If you bought a house from Mr. Smith, and found a leak in a pipe when you moved in.....and left the leak as it was for three and a half years, would you call the leak "Mr. Smith's Leak"?

Or is it YOUR house, and hence YOUR leak?

If you bough a car from Mr. Smith, and found it had a flat tire when you picked it up, but just left it on there for three and a half years afterwards, would you call that "Mr. Smith's Flat Tire"?

Or is it YOUR car, and hence YOUR flat tire?

Why is it then, that three and half years after a new President took office, and that President made a conscious decision to renew a certain tax-cut-for-the-rich, are those tax cust still called the "Bush Tax Cuts"?

Would they not become the Obama Tax Cuts the second Mr. Obama wrote his signature on a legal document renewing/approving of those cuts?

Same for the Wars. While surely they were Mr. Bush's Wars the second Mr. Obama took office, how it it that they can never become Mr. Obama's Wars, despite his doubling down, and continuation (by his own choice) or these Wars?

More importantly, why do we, the citizenry, permit our leaders, of either party, to so easily fall back on "I inherited" and "Those are the last Guy's X, Y or Z" arguments?

To be fair its not like Obama had his party in charge of the House and Senate eager to enact his agenda. He had to deal with obstructionist Republicans..........uh wait a minute....forget what I just said...warblegarble Bushes Fault@!
