Sad thing is I would much rather have
my 18 year old smoking some buds , yet the laws in this country drive them all to the bottle. My opinion is this so much more harmful to there long health. Then add in the need to piss in a bottle for almost everything you need, job,insurance,post accident and you see how it's just not worth the hassle. The only a answer is to fight for legalization,yet the drug testing industry have and will continue to spend millions to prevent that from every happening.

Im a new dad in the sense my boys are 5 & 2 and im a bit away from those issues but how do you plan on handling that? I always worry about dealing with the same exact scenario you have in-front of you.

Shakin', don't do anything drastic. My old man found the fantastic Absolut bottle that I had turned into a bong and he broke it. At least, he claims he did. It wasn't until a couple of years later that I found out how much weed my dad smoked (and still does).

Don't make yourself crazy. You'll see it coming, if you're paying attention.

My oldest found school to be an enormous stressed-out deal and would get involved with pot smoking. He is an adult now and smokes only rarely and has a successful side business. My youngest loved middle and high school and occasionally smoked; he doesn't now, as he's got another year in college.
