Hi guys,

Your Canadian Jets fan seek your help,

After NY, Buffalo, Green Bay, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston (i know, i know...), Ann Arbor and Miami (NFL and Canes) a few friends and myself are planning our 2012 Football roadtrip

We are debating in between New Orleans, Denver and Arizona. I would like to obtain your views on the best pick (combination of tourist attractions, nightlife, fun, cost, etc) not just which is the "more fun team to watch". Since we never visited those cities, would like a few opinions...

Also, is there a good college football program near New Orleans, Denver or Arizona (to combine NFL and college)?

New Orleans by far. Great food, great music, and the people are great. Did relief work after Katrina, and even though everything was torn up, and worked my ass off, it was still one of the best times I can remember.

If you've never been to New Orleans, you should definitely go. Its one of those few cities in the US (the world really) that has its own defined rhythm. Its really like no other city around. The food is terrific, the night life can be as wild as you want it to be (hard not to be actually) and there are a lot of things to do both in and out of the city.

Plus, it also meets your requirement of having college football nearby. LSU is in Baton Rouge which isn't too far from New Orleans. 1.5 hours, mebbe?

By far New Orleans! Went a couple of years ago with a couple of buddies for a game and it was amazing. City, people, and the food.

Phoenix...Great Golf, Hot Girls, 2-3 hour drive to Vegas (i've never done that)
Denver...Great Ski Slopes, Downtown Night life is pretty good, Casinos an hour out of the city

Went to Denver 2 seasons ago for the game. Although we just flew in and out the same day, the stadium is very nice, fans seemed fairly friendly(before the game, not so much after the PI call Holmes drew). Downtown looks pretty damn nice, and heard there was plenty there to do.

if you need to gamble, there's a harrah's casino in New Orleans.

Fried Oysters at the Acme Oyster House is a must.

Because you are Canadian and have your share of dingy dive bars, casinos, and drunks, forget New Orleans.

Go to Arizona, escape the cold, experience the natural beauty of the Grand Canyon and the cleanest women in North America.

Do the tour of Ohio! Cleveland and Cincinnati are where it is at.

Seriously, I would do Dallas/Houston during Texas-OU weekend. The State Fair of Texas and the Cotton Bowl are a blast. Hook' Em.

Catch a nfl game on Sunday in Jerryworld or Reliant is a makeable drive. Plus, if you really want to do football right, catch a Friday Night high school game and see why Texas HS football is so much fun. 14-20k attendance if you pick the big game that week. After the game, head out to find the great Texas-OU parties on Friday night. Hot drunk college girls by the boatload. As a UT grad, our girls are spectacular and I will admit the OU girls are not bad.

I would avoid NO this year because of the problems with the Saints. Next year it should be fine. Btw -the LSU game would be the better experience than a Saints regular season game.

Agreed, the mexican whores in Arizona are much cleaner than the mexican whores in southern california or texas.
