Well, the public is not being harmed; if DWC was speaking in somewhere, we could get a warrant to stop him before he used up all the O2. But, it's just letters in cyberspace, so...

only if holmes is north of 10 td's and over 1000 yds with keller around 60 catches and 7 or 8 td's. it's a team game and what hill does will impact what the others do and vice versa.

I suppose that would be okay as long as Holmes is getting his in year 1.

You just couldn't give him 1,000 yards, could you?

That could apply to several posters in this thread. you need to be more specific.

If Hill can get on the field and deliver those numbers Year 1, follow up Year 2 with that kind of production improvement, he would be very wel lpositioned for a break out Year 3.

If that happens, Jets FO would automatically give him a contract extension thus, locking up a probable top 10 NFL WR for the foreseeable future.

But then again, Chad Jackson says hi as well (just keeping things in perspective).
What was the injury that ruined Chad Jackson's development?

No injury that I recall, twas more that he couldn't raise his game to the NFL level.

I think he'll put up more than 3 TD's his rookie season though, due to his overall size and leaping/jumping ability. About the same size as Plaxico with much better jumping ability (when compred to Plax coming out of college). Has all the making for a monster red zone target.
He's much faster than Plax coming out of college, and has warp speed differential right now. I think BE is a better comparison/target to emulate than Plax, who was pretty much useless between the 20's

I agree with your assessment, I think the Jets using him as a #2 is a mistake in his rookie year. They should bring in a hold the fort type #2 receiver for 2012 and blend in Hill, just my opinion.

I agree as well.

I still think a healthy Edwards is the perfect guy but...

I don't know if Edwards is the answer his route running is not always the best. He often runs the wrong route causing turnovers. There is a reason why a WR starved team like SF cut him.
