That is just awesome. I wish I had the $ to do something like that.

I wish I had the wall to do that. I think my wife would shoot it down though if I did.

Seriously, nice set up.
Thanks, Bro! This is my temporary set up until we can sell this place and move into a home with a proper basement. For now, this a just another bedroom behind the garage on a slab. Not optimal but at least I have this to watch movies in and MNF games in.

Thanks...everything in that room was researched, assembled, painted, aligned, calibrated and purchased by me over the years. You can tell by the pics that I clearly had no "professional" help.

All that and a Donnie figure from McFarlane. That's a man cave for sure.

this is my man cave. Had it built in 2007 (for roughly 50k...including 50" Plasma and 7.1 Onkyo surround sound system installed). Everything was custom built, including the bar.
Every Sunday during the season, I make my way into the man cave at around 9am to watch the ESPN/CBS pregame shows, and I don't surface until around 10/11pm CST when the Sunday nighter is done.

Those original 12 in the article seem kinda ghey for the most part. Places where guys who wear sweaters over their shoulders invite friends who also wear sweaters over their shoulders over to enjoy a glass of chablis or a designer beer whilst watching a sporting match.

Whatever happened to listening to the game over the radio out in the garage while you're working on the car with the smell of grease and engine oil for company? When did men become either so pussified or pampered that they need a special room to watch sports where they can be alone with their "bossom buddies"?

Listening to the game on the radio out in a garage is for welfare kids.

If I can provide a sports sanctuary complete with bar, big screen tv, leather reclining couch, and a fridge full of beer for myself and like-minded sports buddies....then I will.
