The Japanese version of The Grudge and the Thai version of Shutter were better than the American versions and I would recommend them as well if you haven't seen them already.

They either talk funny and there are words all over the bottom of the screen that are distracting as hell or their lip movement doesn't match the spoken word. If they made them. in English they might be more appealing.

And here I was thinking they were called foreign films because they produced in a foreign country hence the foreign language...
