The sound sucked, it still blew away the Black Eyed Peas, and last years disaster.

Springsteen can't be summed up in 12 minutes. Springsteen shows are still really good, albeit I haven't been to one since 2009. I know you didnt like it. I seriously doubt AC/DC or any of the aging big rockers could do better.

AC/DC still delivers. FWIW I thought Springsteen was far and away one of the best half time shows yet. Its hard to sound good on TV.

LOL. Agree to disagree I suppose. Unless you're talking exclusively about the "showmanship" aspect. Yes he's a good showman.

At this stage in their respective careers....almost.

Swift fits what they want more, thats really why she makes sense.

I do enjoy not listening to him every chance I get.

I'd rather watch Van Halen play the halftime show over some bullsh*t pop group like The Black Eyed Peas.

I still say Metallica would put on a pretty sweet halftime show. As long as they stick to their 80's stuff (For Whom The Bell Tolls, Master of Puppets, etc).

I'm 52 going on 53 & I know who Jack White is.
I think if you polled the newest fans of the NFL & all of the kids that are playing fantasy football, MOST would know who Jack White is & most would say they dig him & his music.
Seriously, can it be any worse than most of the halftime shows. I think even the NFL is realizing that dragging these old groups out of their graves is getting stagnant. Oh, & the Black Eyed Peas were horrendous! Talk about a "studio" band, lol.

AC/DC would be an awesome halftime show. No clue why anyone would disagree.

Yes. The allmighty AC/DC would be the perfect choice and have the most relevance and familiarity with Nfl fans and spectators dare I say. After all every NFL stadium feature AC/DC songs at one point or anothher on game day. You are more likely to hear Thunderstruck than anything by the E-street band on game day.

I got to see Van Halen in March and the show was a blast. As far as the shows they canceled the word was they just bit off more than they could chew. It was to much of a grind for them. They have already scheduled shows in Japan so it seems they are getting along fine.

Here is a new one from the last album.
