An hour and 22 min? Is there anything specifically you found interesting?

Don't worry about our discussion or responding. Just get to watching it at some time. Or pickup the book they wrote at your local library.

I'm less concerned about having a discussion about a small portion of it, and would rather have a discussion about its totality. But if that's inconvenient, then just get to it sometime. It's interesting stuff.

Somehow I doubt it's all that interesting tbqh, and that length without detail is far too long to dedicate to a same-old discussion of how bad it is that some have more than others in the world, and how collectivism is the right path for mankind.

Anyway, I'm getting a great primer on the idea, and those who support it, reading my current history text of choice:

Time well spent.

"I don't know anything about it, other than it has phrase 'income inequality', therefore it must be collectivist, and collectivism is always bad. I will not listen/read, and will pass judgment."

Incorrect. Many specific policies of collectivism are good, in my view.

If you know about the video, again, perhaps you should say a little more about it given it's lengthy nature, and pehaps even provide specific points in the narrative to check out. Not everyone wants to spend a hour plus waiting for whatever punchline is intended, issue wise.

Common e-courtesy isn't too much to ask for.

The link is broken (it's a "does not exist" wikipage, as an FYI).

But I get the title, and will persue it further if it interests me at some point.

Ah, I see.

I've read some of it (the wiki page), and followed some of the links on the Authors and their work and their associations.

You'll have to forgive me if I choose to pass this particular video and book by in favor of more interesting material to my own interests. Generally speaking, I already know the arguments and talking points on this particular worldview. I doubt there is anything new or suprising in either I've not already heard/read in detail elsewhere from the usual Liberal/Democrat/Progressive/Collectivist/Socialist/Communist/Welfare State/New Deal sources.

There may be some merit to their argument, but assigning Dems gray hats? No - around here (where I work) Dem cronyism is intolerable, and if anything constitutes a "leg up" unfairly, its cronyism.
