1) Obama is a liar

First off, it's the same publisher that made the same mistake - it's Dyster & Goderich both times, Shakin.

Secondly, they took responsibility for it.

Lastly, there is a big difference between calling the President a liar - which is common - and calling him the perpetrator of a massive conspiracy to conceal his ineligibility for executive office.

If you're just saying he's a liar, by all means, have fun. If you're saying he wasn't born in America, then you're batsh*t insane.

So which is it?

The book is Acton & Dyster actually, but whatever. It's common in the publishing industry to have a major factual error about one of your authors go unaddressed for 16 years. As someone who's familiar with the industry, I can say without hesitation that if you believe that, you are absolutely batsh:t crazy.
