Teams are designing their defenses to get smaller and faster and playing with more DB's to try and stop all these high powered offenses and their 4-5 WR sets.

Belly is going to counter that with multiple TE sets that will create major missmatches with size and weight.

What a genius move by Belichick. This fills that massive hole that they had at TE.

With Fells on PUP and Ballard on IR this moves makes sense.

Gronk, AHern, Shiancoe will do just fine

NY's stepchild
Here's hoping that GS3 under center, and Coples on the edge works out.

That might actually be something to fear if the Pats could send 8 receivers out on a pass play.

This move makes them more deep, not more dangerous. And it does nothing to change the fact that the only way the Jets are going to challenge NE this year is if they get a pass rush.

If Rex's D can apply some serious pressure, the Pats can add 5 more mid-level FA receivers and it won't matter.

How can you say that Lloyd and Gaffney are not more of a dangerous threat to catch the ball than Slater and Underwood.

And how do you consider guys that get almost 1000 yds the season before as mid level FA. You realize that both of these guys have out performed Holmes as a jet over the last two years, without Brady throwing them the ball.
