At my beach house we have shower drains that have long, sliver-like openings so I like to take the soap, crumble it up, drop it, and use my toes to guide the crumbles down the drain.

At my primary house we have drains that are those little perforated holes so I leave the little last piece on the toiletry shelf under the mirror and adjacent to the towel warmer for the cleaning girl to dispose of.

At my girlfriend's apartment we are too busy having sex and don't care about little soap pieces at all.

Shave a strip, tap the wall a few times--blades towards the tile--rinse repeat.

Honestly can't remember the last time I didn't shave in the shower. Always go top to bottom tho. Face to chest to balls. Have been doing that routine for 12 years.
