Question Best Seafood Place on LBI? (*****es?)

My first vacation in over a year is coming up, and I can never remember the places of recommended seafood/places to eat on LBI.

Places to go? Places to avoid?

Harvey Cedars Shellfish Company for take out everything.

We always do one big blowout the last night--steamed lobsters, shrimp, clams, mussells, corn, etc.

The Nations Capital, the Seat of Power for the single most powerful nation in human history.....is the boonies now?

Seriously, I am at a loss to what LBI is. L.I. is Long Island, but LBI?

Lesbians and Bisexuals International?

EDIT: Ok, a quick google search says LBI is "Long Beach Island".

Inw hich case, I'll cry ignorance, as when I lived there, we never called it LBI. We just called it "Long Beach".

That would be like calling Ocean City MD "Ocean City Peninsula" or OCP, which, of course, no sane person does. It's just Ocean City.

Double EDIT: **** me, LBI isn't Long Beach after all, it's some place in Jersey? ****, no wonder I'd never heard of it, only thing in Jersey are the swampy Jets, the Oil Cities and bad Reality TV Stars.

Ate here for the first time while in Beach Haven a week ago and it was very good: www.terracetavernlbi.com

Also, the Engleside Inn (where I stayed) had a nice sushi menu and bar.

If so, then:

Was right on the money.
Long Beach Island, one of Jersey's most popular beaches.

And yes, for the record, anywhere that is not located in the NYC metro area = Boonies

LBI, to distinguish from Long Beach, Long Island.

Your 1st guess, Lesbians and Bisexuals International, was prolly right on target.

But oddly enough, it's just like the Long Island beaches - on a shoreline with hundreds of big, flat, beautiful beaches, thousands flock to the one place with small, eroded, undertow- plagued beaches. Never ceases to amaze me.
