Oh well. It was a good try. Get some other scrap heap lineman like Carey on board, I guess.

Source: Jets won't be keeping OT Jeff Otah

BY Manish Mehta

The Daily News has learned that the Jets won't be keeping offensive tackle Jeff Otah. The Jets acquired Otah on a conditional basis in a trade with the Panthers last week. Per terms of the trade, Otah, who has played only four games during the past two seasons due to knee issues, needed to pass a physical within seven days of him reporting to the team. The Jets were going to give up a conditional seventh-round pick for Otah.

The deadline to pass that physical was Tuesday. Otah was expected to provide competition for the much maligned Wayne Hunter for the starting right tackle job. Now, it appears that Hunter will be the starter at the start of the season.

Well there goes that.

Oh well at least they got a look at him, hard to believe he has much left in this league if a RT desperate team sends him packing.

That, and you have no sense of humor, at all.

But I'm the angry one... LOL.

Yup, that's me...
drawing a mental line from Sanchez through Hunter to each
prospective source of Mark's season-ending injury.

<maybe less coffee will help...>

I do, however, see the stark contrast between our O & D:
  • On D we admire the "deep depth".
  • On O we question whether last year's starter will return to his
    two-years-prior form since there's no one behind him.

Taxes. Do you get to keep more in KC, than in New York/ Metro area.
