I agree with the above, would love to see Wayne Chrebet's jersey retired. A true Jet. Can't wait to see #28 retired. Loved watching Curtis Martin rush the football. He was pretty much our entire offense more times than not.

Awesome, well deserved. Sucks that the ceremony (or whatever it is) will only be on in the NY area, anyone outside that area will probably miss it.

I find that incredibly hard to believe. Where did you see that?

almost 65% of all his completions were 3rd down catches for first downs? Are you sure not 65% of all catches (Which doesn't seem that high)

His is the only jersey that hangs in my closet and the only one I wear to show I am a Jets fan. Joe Wille's is in a frame on the wall in the man cave.

Hall of fame Jets RB.....
Still have a large collection of Jets caps that I wear most days though.

Can't wait. I'll be there for Week 1, flying in on Saturday. I'll be wearing the #28 authentic Martin jersey that I bought 3 weeks before Curtis' very first game as a Jet!

Can't wait to see my all-time favorite Jet inducted into the Hall this weekend and then to see his number retired Week 1, both live. Should be a good time.
