Coughlin

My God, put down the crack pipe.

BB is a 1st ballot HOF coach, none of the others are even close.

Rex a better HC than Belichick? Jet fans are too funny.

it's one thing to say its not even a comparison to Vince but to say hes not better than some/most of coaches listed above is absurd

Coughlin & McCarthy are the only two i say is better than Billy

Who cares, I'll make an argument that its easier to tweak and improve your team with free agency.

How many SB's did Lombardi lose?

How many did he lose as the clear favorite with the better team?

Did Lombardi have to cheat his way to a title?

Lombardi easily is the better HC.

I am 50 years old

I was 7 the last time the NY Jets went to a SB and I did not know what was going on.

WTF does ANYONE here know about SB winning, and SB winning coaches?

What a complete joke anyone connected with the NYJ is for criticizing BB. Until we at least get back to a SB we all have to pipe down and KEEP QUIET, especially concerning those who have won multiple SB's, let alone gone and lost.

Agreed, the guy is hands down the top coach in the NFL, gotta give the creep his due...Tough road for all AFC east teams trying to beat Belichick for the division every year, please let this be the year

Can't call him the best coach anymore.

Overall: Coughlin > Belichick. Have to take Jacksonville and Cleveland into consideration and then there is their SB history. Just too much there to ignore.

And Belicheat passed on him 5 and had a scout tell him to take him over Tim Ratay. Belicheater had zero do to with drafting Brady.

Get a life you loser.

It comes down to Brady, TX. You can say whatever else you want about Free Agency. Brady, and the offensive line coach, IMO.

Belichick has this cheating stigma attached to him. As long as that's there, he can't be associated with something that represents the league. Sorry, but right, wrong or indifferent, that's the way that is now, and should be.

Are you connected to the Jets? What does being a Jet fan have to do with knowing how good a coach is, or how wrong it would be to put the name of a convicted cheater on the Super bowl trophy next to a legend?

The guy has the best QB in the league, and still can't win one Superbowl without cheating. That obviously makes him the best. Can't argue with that.

I am 100% certain that when all is said and done, Belichick will not make the HOF. The Patriots because of Brady are a huge moneymaker for the league and they have incentive to sort of sweep the fact that he's a known cheater under the rug. Once him and Brady are retired and the Pats are no longer the league darlings that they've been, Belichick will be looked at with a more critical eye. I wouldn't be surprised if his Superbowl wins are eventually vacated.
