The Houston/Stokes match is back to a dead heat. One of the earliest Stokes jokes (at least that I remember) was when Jimmy told him to hide under a mushroom. Not sure why, but that one got me.

I'm still waiting to use it on my short friend. He's not Stokesian short, but still short enough to call out.

Dominique Dawes competed in THREE Olympics winning a team Gold medal.

She was the first black woman of any nationality to win an Olympic gold in gymnastics.

She last competed in the Olympics 12 years ago

Were doors slammed shut in the intervening 12 years?

Have African-American women been shunned from competing in international gymnastics since then?
