Yeah but to be fair, I think he was just responding to the post that said Revis ran a 4.3.

Revis has 4.3 speed. Are we really arguing this?

Then he must use some magic trick to stop receivers who run in the 4.3's to not beat him over the top. Again, go check the video I just posted.

Regardless, news on the rookie receiver taking it to Revis is very promising.

Are you saying that Revis isn't a 4.3 guy? I'm confused here.

Let's be clear, he ran a 4.38 at his pro day. I can understand that he's not considered a "speed guy". That's usually attributed to guys that run in the 4.2s.

4.3 is still among the fastest players in the league. Revis would probably be attributed as a "speed guy" if that was the only tool he had.

I never knew he was in the 4.3's at his pro day, my bad.

I take those numbers with a grain of salt though, pro day numbers always seem to be faster than actual combine numbers.

End of day he is pretty quick, but not as quick as Hill.

Well keep in mind that multiple sources have that as his official time so they have a system in place to agree on those measureables.

No need for apologies.

Even if I am wrong I am adding to the discussion. I am taking a risk in trying to predict the future. What do you add? other than being a hater. maybe you should look in a mirror before judging others.
I think we all should let Coples develop before we try to judge him. By the way did you happen to notice that REX singled out Slauson for have a good day today? Just sayin....

I do agree with you about some guys being nothing but haters on this board. I'd rather read your predictions then the haters crapping all over the place!

If Tony Sparano can get something out of this offense with the current personnel, I will bow down to his greatness.

The people here who are satisfied with the WR and RB situations and the OL depth are setting themselves up for disappointment.

LOL.

A pro day 4.38 could be a 4.5 at the combine. Those pro day 40s are rigged. They run downhill and with the wind.

Revis is not a "4.3 guy". But the reason why he is able to cover those "4.3 guys" is b.c he has no wasted movement and his technique is perfect. He can change direction without losing speed. He knows when to come out of his backpedal, when to use his hands, how to use the sideline, etc, etc, etc.

By the way, I saw the Bilal Powell 8 yard TD reception.

He was standing alone by the left goal line pylon after Sanchez scrambled around behind the LOS for about 7 seconds. Sanchez threw a perfect pass to him. He caught it and fell backwards into the EZ.

I can't wait to see the vastly improved Powell once the games start.

Revis has elite speed with pads on... I personally don't care what he runs...

Anyone watching him play that doesn't realize he has 'game speed' is an idiot...

With that said, yes, Hill can probably burn him on a go route if Revis played off of him...

Pitt. isn't known to be a fast track for pro day 40 times. Larry Fitzgerald ran a 4.48 and Lesean McCoy ran a 4.5 at their pro days at Pitt. If McCoy was running a wind-aided, 4.5 downhill that's unbelievably slow, especially for how fast he plays with pads on.

Revis isn't a "4.5 guy" either, no way.
