Schefter: Jets have inquired with KC about Dwayne Bowe

@AdamSchefter Hearing Jets have inquired with Kansas City regarding Dwayne Bowe

And so it begins, I've been waiting for news like this.

Harvin, Bowe, both make sense

Bowe/Harvin, Holmes, Hill...

Either player would be had for a high round pick IMO.

Did he really tweet that? It's not coming up in my news feed. I would do something like the Marshall trade. 2 3rd rd picks or like a third and a fourth that could escalate depending on play

Bowe was franchised

Report: Dwayne Bowe will report to Chiefs by Week 1

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap200...iefs-by-week-1

Makes sense to at least find out...But I doubt anything comes of it..

How can you trade a high pick (#1 or #2) and then have 3 WRs (Holmes, Hill, Bowe) for a team that wants to run the ball?

Question though---Who does KC have TEs? Keller and a pick for Bowe?

I dont see any tweet either. If it is true, I have mixed feelings on Bowe. He' seems to have elite talent but disappears games at a time.

Here's the problem with this. Are we going to give up a couple of draft choices (Edwards was a 3 and a 5), and then when this guy's contract expires we don't re-sign him (can we afford it?). We have to trade somebody to KC to make some cap room.

We can't keep giving up draft choices for players and letting them walk away.

And how will this go over with Revis if we give Bowe, a holdout for KC, a new contract?

Can we even afford this?

I would much rather give up a second rounder for harvin. Brings more to the table and is younger

Last tweet from Schefter was this sent about 3 hours ago:

Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter
Statement from the Reid family: On behalf of Tammy and our family, I would like to thank everybody for their tremend…

Nothing about Bowe.

Chiefs are okay at TE Tony Moeaki(was a big loss as he was injured very early in the season and Kevin" Concussion waiting to happen" Boss are there Te's.

Ground and pound doesn't mean that you are going the full John Fox and don't want to pass the ball.

I'd say that the run/pass ratio will be close to 55% run / 45% pass, and many of those passes will be of the down field variety.

Um, no I'm not, I'm the exact opposite...

If that was a fake tweet from a fake account, I apologize. A couple of reputable people re-tweeted it so I gave it credence without checking.

Lock and dump!

What's to get upset about ? Revis has 2 years left, Bowe is a FA. Revis should understand that. Also, it'll make his demands seem more reasonable when it comes time to redo the deal next year.

IMO all of these players are too rich for our cap. But if the Jets are going to shop then they should shop at Tiffany's.

Make it happen. This guy is a beast. You want a guy who can stretch the field and make plays 10-15 yards out. This guy has the tools. Bring him in, with all the changes next season, there will be plenty of cap room to resign.
