He's hasn't been with the team since July 31 and he's not at the game tonight. Lovie Smith says he's excused for personal reasons. Hopefully it's nothing back. you think he might be thinking retirement? just speculating

He.s got a banged up knee, I some Bears fans that are not too confident about his ability to make it through the season healthy. That said, I'm not sure why a knee would keep him away from the team for a week. The pessimist in me says "personal" issues is a nice way to cover up getting a second opinion on an injured knee.
