15-1 is my stretch goal, but realistically 13-3.

5-11. The defense will be eaten alive by short passes over the middle with our lack of speed in the line backing corps.

You're an ass, really, only a complete fool would predict 5 wins.

11-5, this defense is going to be so much better than people think (and people think it will be good).

We know you are, this thread has nothing to do with it.

That list you put up just cements it.

I think it will start out pretty ugly, maybe 1 - 4. Team implodes. Tebow starts a bunch of games in the second half of the season.

Overall 4 - 12

**********************

Edit as of September 1:

The team has upgraded the OL so Hunter won't sabotage our season. With a stable offense and great defense, the Jets could do pretty well this year. I'm changing my estimate to 11 - 5. (Yes, that's how important the OL is to a team )

8-8, if we are lucky. That would be ok though.

i was pretty excited for this season. granted it was only 1 preseason game, but i am no longer excited about the season. the defense can only carry a lack luster offense so far, and this defense isn't even great enough for that. the offense looks eerily similar to that of Schotty. the defense still doesn't seem to be able to put a decent pass rush on, and maybin was stonewalled every play. i'd be happy with a 6-10 season.

Could be tough start to year with some growing pains in the offense and the defense [lots of new faces].

But Sanchez couldn't play worse than last year.

And Tebow has to be worth at least one win.

And a crap streak like they ended last year with is also unlikely.

I say a healthy Jets squad can go 11-5.

Aside from finding a faster mix that works at LB - the Jets are going to need for a few players to decide to step up and try to be playmakers. Not enough swagger on this team last year.

So you were excited, and you saw a preseason game and now you think 6-10 would be lucky. Wow you must be brand new.

One quarter of looking at starters, who left the game 3-3 against a playoff team and that dropped what 4-6 wins off what he thought they would win?

Amazing

10-6.......

Las Vegas has our Over Under Win Total as 8.5 or 9.......Only on a Jets forum will you find a large % of "fans" predicting the Under for their own damn team

I'm just so sick of the negativity by the national media, our own NY sports radio hosts, and fans of the NFL as well as Jets fans themselves

If you listen to just about any other team's radio shows before the season, the hosts and callers will for the most part see the team with a very positive view.....Everybody is usually excited for a fresh new season....Our team is the exact opposite, it makes me sick

Will be really nice to start out the season with a couple wins just to shut the haters up
