I disagree with the huge mistake. He's big, fast, and has the tools to be an effective WR. His problem is staying healthy. We signed him to a one year deal in hopes he stayed on the field. There have been players injured early in their career that have managed to stay healthy later.

This is his fifth year and he still can't stay healthy. And the few times he has been healthy he hasn't shown ****. I don't care if we signed him for cheap, he is and has been a waste of a roster spot.

He's not a waste of a roster spot unless we keep him on the 53, which at this point seems very slim. And incase you didn't notice none of our WRs have had a full camp due to injuries. So if that's the criteria we use to evaluate wasted spots, we have a bunch of them. His WRs coach must've seen something in him to go with giving him a shot.

I hope it is a Tebow package and not just Tebow in Brad Smith's Wildcat role. Tebow is capable of a lot more than Smith was. But that seems like the most likely scenario to me, seeing as they've only spent 2 days (that I can remember) working on it.

Its interesting. Some people think that they haven't spent enough time on the Tebow packages, some think they've spent (or will spend) too much, to the detriment of Sanchez's development.

Some think that the Jets need to practice the Tebow packages in a game format, whilst others think they should hold out in order to keep it a surprise and only practice in closed environments

I'm not sure which of the above are correct - but one things for sure.....there's no way you'll ever please everyone. Least of all Jet fans.

LOL...so because other WRs got injured it somehow takes Schilens off the hook? The point people are making is that he should have never been signed in the first place, and some other average WR should have been added. Was Chaz Schilens the ONLY WR the Jets could have signed?
