I wouldn't have had a problem with that. This team needs playmakers.

And going with Lal's recommendation probably set this team up for a big fail in the WR department this season. I'm hoping someone decent shakes loose after cuts.

Meanwhile he makes more sense than you telling us that he sucked because of injury, wrong or a outright lie. Or that he's healthy, given you don't have a clue other than you have a hard on for him.

And somehow think that what the jets have or dont have on the roster this minute changes BE in any way. That would be stupid on any level.

That's it in a nutshell.

Could we have gone out and gotten another Plax/Mason? Sure, but that didn't seem to work out very well last year.

Could we have shot the moon and tried to get an actual core piece for our future? Sure, but I don't think the cap ramifications would have allowed it.

So, if we're simply talking about a stop-gap, I'd rather see what we already have. If the difference is 7-9 vs. 9-7, I'll take that risk.

I'm not arguing we wouldn't benefit from an upgrade in our WR corp -- I guess I just define "upgrade" differently than most . . .
