You are right....it was John Jefferson on a pass from Lynn Dickey.
I liked Bob Crable. He was gonna be a real good one till he got hurt. I think he played with Mehl and Buttle, which was a pretty good trio.

Oh my God, he would have been unbelievable had he not been injured so bad.
I remember when he got hurt, man did that suck!
Had to have all kinds of regenerative stuff done to his hip, similar to what ended Bo Jacksons football career.
I felt the same way you did when he hurt his hip. He had a ridiculous collegiate career with crazy accolades. I recall his hip injury may have been career ending yet the guy played for 11 seasons until he hurt his shoulder his final year. He wasn't the dynamic player we saw before the injury but I would say he had a solid career with the Jets.

blinka hit john jefferson in a playoff game against san diego. caught him right under the chin. jefferson was out and san diego couldn't pass the whole game.

Marvin Jones definitely did not live up to expectations but he was still VERY good. Wasn't he a #4 overall pick out of Florida State? Mo Lewis was excellent as well....could use a guy like that on the outside right now.
