Went to the local liquorrey tonight as I was all out of Laphroig, and picked this up on a whim:

Pretty good, not as smoky/peaty as Laphroig or Talisker. More sweet. It smells like maple syrup and tastes like chocolate and berries. Quite a nice scotch.

That's extremely disappointing. Dalmore is excellent, but you need to kick your local purveyor in the ass and get him to order some Glemorangie. I'm knocking this back, presently:

Just as I was getting ready to pour a glass of this, I dropped the bottle and spilled some. I didn't cry, but it was close.

Just opened a bottle. I've found myself buying the 10 YO and 10 YO Ardbeg more than anything else lately.

Nice pool. Nice stone work.

Received this yesterday. A bit peaty, very Islay-like (which I can't stand), but after it sits a bit, goes down pretty smooth. Kind of reminded me of Lagavulin.

I'm the opposite - it's rare that I drink anything from outside the islands. Therefore, I suggest you wrap up that Talisker and pick up a bottle of 18 yo Caol Isla. I'll happily trade you the 18 yo MacCallan I got.

Finally got a couple of these glen cairn glasses. Threw in a few chilled soap stones and enjoyed a sip. Not bad.
