I went to the Sagamore once a long time ago for a sales meeting at my old company. They were trying to save money (the next year we went to the Breakers in Palm Beach). I don't remember much of the week there, bunch of meetings interspersed with nights drinking with co-workers.

You used to be able to come by boat but they stopped that a few years ago. The best boat bar is the Algonquin in Bolton and the Boathouse near LG village.

We used to do a MLK ski weekend at Gore every year with a bunch of families in our neighborhood and stay at the Sagamore but they started closing it in winter around 2 years ago.
