Though if you are just getting into Pumpkin beers you probably want to work york way up and try one of these fist. Wolaver's Pumpkin, Southampton Pumking, or Smuttynose Pumpkin. Shipyard Pumkinhead is a probably the least "Pumking'ny" beer I know of.
Will do, the SHipyard I tried was literally my first crack at Pumpkin ale...I enjoyed the hint of pumpkin...dont know if I want it any stronger..but I'm willing to find out.

Just found out that Pennsylvania's Yuengling "America's Oldest Brewery" is now brewing most of their beer in a different brewery in Tampa. Of course it's not on the label. Not as charming.

I have yet to taste Pumpkin beer, I think I'm going to give this one a try.

Didn't get any Pumkin beers this week, though I think Dogfish's Punkin Ale while hit the shelves by the weekend. Here is what I got this week:

21st Amendment - Hop Crisis

Lagunitas - A Little Sumpin' Wild

Stone - 16th Anniversary IPA

Firestone - Wookey Jack

Firestone - Double DBA

How is the Firestone DBA? I saw it at the store today, but end up getting Parabola instead.

I also grabbed the last two four packs of this!

Having this right now. Been dying to try it and....it's just OK. Every time I try any of the Stone anniversary or special release stuff I always think "it's good, but wish I would've just gotten the regular Ruination or the Arrogant Bastard". Still excellent but not mind-blowing.

I've heard nothing but great things about this, gotta try it.

I just had Sam Adams' Harvest Pumpkin Ale the other day. Very good (as most SA beers are), I'm just not sure how many I could drink back to back. I had one and while it was tasty, it was a bit spicy to have more than that.

Ballast Point - Sculpin India Pale Ale (San Diego, CA)

Probably the best IPA I've ever had. And that's saying a lot.

The Sculpin does it for me good, San Diego has some real good stuff coming out of it.

The number one beer on my wishlist is Kern Citra from this small brewery in California. They don't make a lot of it and you need really good trade bait to get some. I suspect Lawson's Double Sunshine would get me some, since it's also from a tiny brewery and not brewed continuously.
