Quick question Madden 13

I have madden 13 on PS3, does anyone know how to edit players under coach career mode? I have 2 TE's with the same number and I want to change one of them.

Also, any way to make it default to conventional play calling in that same mode?

you cant edit people in connected career mode if thats what your talking about. idk why they did such a thing but a huge knock on the game IMO since i enjoy changing players attire and what not.
