Ok the good the bad and the ugly
1. the good = the jets send 5 players to the pro bowl 2. the bad = the jets fail to make the playoffs with a 10-6 record 3. the ugly = Rex gains all his weight back |

1. After every loss, JI will be filled with threads to "cut this guy already" "fire Tanny, and "fire Rex and/or Sparano"
2. After every win JI will be filled with threads saying "Sparano is Awesome" "Rex is a genius" and "SOJF's eat crow here" 3. Lots of draft related threads that are move to the draft forum after the bye week. |

1. Jets finish in top 5 defensively, if not #1.
2. #32 ranked offense 3. Start out 4-4 but fade after the bye week and miss playoffs. Not a SOJF but a realist. This team has shown absolutely nothing on offense and despite the additions of Gates and Reuland, I have a hard time envisioning 2009's ground and pound offense with our current RBs and O line. |

2. Mike Tannenbaum will be replaced as GM at the end of the season. 3. The Jets will not win more then 7 games. NOT a SOJF but NOT drinking the Kool-aid either |

I know you are not a SOJF. IMO, even if the Jets go 7-9, Woody will not change GMs. Hopefully, we won't have to find out.

2. Tebow joins the elite list of players who have thrown a TD, caught a TD and ran for a TD in the same game 3. Cro makes a catch and an Int in the same game |

1) Career year for Sanchez, completes 60%+ of his passes
2) Jets are make the playoffs, contend NE for the Division title 3) Defense is ranked at #1 and nearly doubles it's sacks from last year with the emerging D-Line. |

I'm increasing this year's Jets win total to 10...with a possibility of it reaching 11. There's enough talent on this team...it will all come down to execution.
So here are three positive reasons that will make this happen: 1. Sparano's offense will be much more suitable to the strengths of Sanchez. He will complete 60+% of his passes, and have way less turnovers. Sanchez will operate an overall more efficient...less turnover prone offense...that will be much improved over last year's. This offense will score enough points...and be better at controlling the clock. This will allow the defense to stay fresh...and play at its best. 2. Hill may be raw and inexperienced. But...this physically talented player will surprise many...and have a more productive season then expected. In addition...the very fast Schilens and Gates...will also make enough positive contributions. So that together...this trio will give the Jets the deep vertical threat...it never had last year. This will result in Santonio and Keller operating more effectively, in the short-intermediate areas of the field. Hill...along with Schilens and Gates...by successfully providing the deep downfield presence, will also prevent defenses from stacking the box...allowing the running game to be more effective too. 3. The Jets will have a more aggressive attacking style defense. With improved pressure coming from the DL and sub packages. This will combine with, what potentially could be, the best overall secondary in the NFL. Significantly less points allowed...and creating many more turnovers...will be the end result. |
