IS this what FFDoots is doing? Is that why he is on a self-imposed hiatus?

GFY to Paulie and Fish at "crossing 200"

I haven't been less than 200 since freshman year football.

Made it as high as 293 two winters ago. You want to talk about a panic button!

Got down as low as 253 last summer only to put just about all of it back on after a job change.

Got semi-serious again this summer. Hovering around 270 from 286 at Memorial Day. Still have more work to do.

I know how to do it, I just find too many excuses. Plus I have what some professionals might call addictions to some really crappy foods. Chik-fil-a, Snickers, Pizza, etc.

For me it was both. Mostly I just grab a bottled water. For something different I'll splash some oj in some seltzer water. Not groundbreaking but it was an easy 5 lbs and I dont miss the sugar.

As an aside it's probably easier on my fatty liver as well.

oj is basically as bad as soda when it comes to sugar. at least it's natural though

Probably a good idea to cut out both. I've heard diet soda is also bad for you for various reasons. One was something like it tricks your brain into thinking you have had sugar when you haven't had any calories, so when you do eat sweet, you eat more because your brain now equates sweet with no/low calories. Also read something about a study that said the artificial sweeteners may lead to heart problems.

Congrats man, that really is awesome.

Just like BHR said, I've crossed over into 200+ territory and its the heaviest I have every been - to which you're probably thinking 'GFY'. I'm at a 34 waist now, and if Im not careful - once I buy anything in a size 36 waist Im friggin done.

Gotta do something now or else. I tried jogging earlier this year...well, we all know how that turned out. :shakes_crutch:
+1. I refuse to buy anything bigger than a 34. Refuse.

It took me a long time to accept a 34 waist. But I will not venture into 36 or beyond territory.

One day you're buying your first pair of 36 x 32 jeans, the next thing you know you're crusing the clearance racks for 3xl shirts.

And then shortly thereafter you're telling a tv news crew, "I wash mahself with a rag on a stick," right before a bull dozer knocks down the front of your house so you can be loaded onto a horse trailer to be taken to the hospital.

Ah yes, the 34" waist. My closet and dresser has a plethora of those jeans and slacks just mocking me every time I spot them -- sitting next to or underneath my present 38" duds. (yes, there was a 36" interval in there too). And now I have to suck in my gut from time to time just to zipper up the 38s. Still, I hang onto the "skinny" pants as a sort of motivator.
