Yep we have liquor stores in TX for the hard stuff, and they close pretty early around 9 PM and aren't open on Sundays. But you can buy beer and wine pretty much everywhere -- grocery stores, convenience stores, gas stations, pharmacies like Walgreens, Walmart/Target since they have grocery stores in them.

I'm an editorial director in textbook publishing.
Many southern states and California are adoption states, which means they tell publishers when books/digital content must be submitted to the state for review. If you miss the deadline, you don't sell your books in that state for 6 to 8 years. Our deadlines are immovable.

TMI, I know. But it's why I'm having a blast in PA this week.
