There's stuff they sell just to clean HE front loaders...pretty sure they sell it at Home Depot. Also, try to leave the door cracked open when not in use.

Exactly. I leave the door open when it is not in use. The rubber seal can get moldy if there is no ventilation. At least that is what the Sears guy told me.

Check where the washing machine waste hose goes into the house drain.

Had that once where it was backed up with lint.

Drop a quarter into your machine. When it drains the quarter will clear out the built up lint in your drain line as it passes.
