CNN has them tied. Rassmussen and Gallup have Obama plus four with a MoE of 2 or 3. |

Agree. This has been my point for some time. Our country has become one with a substantial number of lazy people who want the government to do everything for them. There are still plenty of decent hard workers who pay taxes but not enough to outweigh the losers. Plus you have people out there who hate our country (self haters) who want the whole the thing to fail. See Jeremiah Wright "God damn America". Many feel that way. Also people lack logic. "Screw the rich" is not going to work. The rich will just take their money and not hire or invest here. |

The Political Bottom Line:
Mitt Romney never should have selected Paul Ryan as his VP running mate. There's an old saying that compares politics to making sausage and that no one wants to see sausage (politics) being made. Well, Ryan comes from the Congress and he's the chief sausage maker there. Romney should have selected South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley as his VP running mate. Haley is a woman and a minority. Elections are about the future. Two white guys who count beans mean nothing.
