But the DJ--Danni--didn't say what the song was or who the artist was. So I e-mailed her the next morning--asked her if they kept track of the playlist and what the song was, told her it was just after Bob Marley's "Jammin" and just before Crosby Stills Nash and Young's "Carry On", and she e-mailed me back that it was Slither by Velvet Revolver.

I still have the e-mail

Cool story. She always had a very sexy voice.

Years ago, when Maddog was still there, I won opening day tix to the Yankees.

It was the day before the game so I had to go pick the tickets up at their old building in Astoria. The studio was in the basement.

I got the tickets and was leaving about 5 minutes before the Mike & the Maddog show was supposed to start. As I walked out to go back up the elevator, the doors open and there is Francesa, holding a diet coke and panting like he had just run the NYC marathon.

I was so tempted to say, "A bit winded from the elevator ride? Hitting that down button must be exhausting."

Finally remembered to bring the iPod in to participate.

John's Law > Dropkick Murphy's
Finnegan's Wake > Shilelagh Law
Dream On > Aerosmith
Bohemian Rhapsody > Glee (dammit, there it is)
30 seconds of All My Life (KC & JoJo) > Live boot from a Panic at the Disco! show
Captain Kelly's Kitchen > Dropkick Murphy's

As I tpye another Shilelagh Law tune. Not very shuffled apparently.
