Question Regarding Jets 12 Men in Huddle Penalty

What was going on with that 12 men in the huddle penalty yesterday on the offense? That was Sanchez that went running out of the huddle first, right? Then someone else ran off, Powell maybe? They never fully explained that...was Tebow in the huddle at that point? If not, why was Sanchez running off?

There was an extra playmaker on the field, not Tebow. Part of Mark's job is to count his teammates before he enters the huddle. He never did that and tried to leave the huddle after entering but it was too late.

Are you sure he is required to count the guys on each play?

I hope it is. Someone needs to be aware of how many men are on the field before they huddle up, especially with the way teams change personnel nowadays.
