Ummm maybe now those who were killing the Jets will realize that a team can look good one day and have a tough game the next...

All it shows is the sky is NOT falling for the Jets

Nope. Speaking of that, how great would it be to play in the AFCW? Bunch of **** teams, Chargers are the only decent team.

Haven't read over the thread, but just want to say that Michael Turner is what Shonn Greene SHOULD be. Notice how he fights for yards and doesn't just go down immediately?

Replacement ref go-to call:

"Pass interference on the defense, the guy who didn't touch the WR"

I really don't think the refs are that much worse than the regulars. The issue is that they get absolutely no respect from the players and specifically the coaches. I think if they stick, they will be fine and start calling stuff with more consistency.

I don't consider myself someone who is like Mike Breen, always defending the refs, but I thought the refs were atrocious last season and many seasons before that.

It's not like any of these poor schmucks have pulled a Hochuli screwing Denver type call yet. I think the whole thing is way overblown.

Atlanta was penalized 11 yards on that defensive holding call. It's supposed to be a 5 yard penalty.

Oops.

I think the whole half was a collective "oops" by the refs. Seriously, replacement refs add 15-20 minutes to every game. I don't even think that is an exaggeration. Goodell needs to end this nonsense

I cant believe the refs marked off that PI penalty for 10 yards and not 5. Gave the Broncos an extra 5 yards in the last minute of the game.

PI penalties are marked off at the spot of the foul, Defensive Holding or Illegal Contact are 5 yard penalties.

Manning looks like Sanchez. I guess even one of the best ever can have a bad game when under pressure in a tough environment.

Then it must have been a defensive holding.
