I hated the perspective of the old avatar image. It was distorted, and did not flatter you. This one is a 10. Nice smile.

One more boogie from one of my idols, the late Marc Bolan.

Saw Sammy on TMS the other night. They mentioned this super group of which he was the singer. (What a lineup: Sammy Hagar, Neal Schon, Kenny Aaronson, and Michael Shrieve.) Haven't listened to this tune since I had the cassette way back when.

Schon is channeling dinosaurs fighting for his guitar tone. Solo around 4:00 is great. This guy can play.

Don't remember that group, or song my senior year. Was not into that music. Schon rips it there for a bit.

Just one album together. The early 80s were a fun period for punchy rock & roll.

At the time all I listened to were GD bootlegs, But I did know and listen to all other music around me. I look back now and say man there were a ton of bands and variety back then even if some of it was cheesy, or whatever, I miss having the options. Easy to say that now.

Never to late to explore, especially with all the free music on YouTube to preview before buying. For some reason, I have always enjoyed listening to all types of music. Like WCO, in my youth and now, I was equally comfortable in a sleazy punk club like CBGB or a classical concert at Carnegie Hall. And thoroughly appreciated the genres.

As in any era, there is fluff and music which stands out. For me, this is one of the great records from the 80s.

YUP.....they were good.

To think that Carl Palmer was about 19 then.

I used to try to play that on my electric bass..... the opening riff is really cool.

I have tried to play this a few times...I get through it but never as well as I would like.

Palmer's mastery is astounding and breathtaking. All these years later, I still live for that moment in "Tank" when they all come charging back (about 4:10). Emerson's soloing intellect is still rarely matched.

Have not heard "The Sage" in quite a while. Thanks.
