Rocker Billie Joe Armstrong has checked rehab just two days after throwing an anti-Justin Bieber tirade at at Las Vegas concert.

The Green Day front man is “seeking treatment for substance abuse,” the band said in a statement released Sunday.

On Friday night, the “American Idiot” auteur capped a performance at the iHeartRadio Festival in Vegas by having expletive-laced meltdown.

Believing his band was being cut off prematurely, Armstrong began screaming, “I’m not f------ Justin Beiber, you mother------!”

To punctuate his point, he smashed his yellow guitar and threw the ruined instrument into the audience.

But Armstrong’s bandmates said he was mistaken about the length of their gig.

“Green Day would like everyone to know that their set was not cut short by Clear Channel and to apologize to those they offended at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas,” the statement reads. “The band regretfully must postpone some of their upcoming promotional appearances.”

Armstrong, 40, picked a bad time to go off the deep end. His band is set to release its new album “Uno” on Tuesday and is set to launch a nationwide tour in November. The album is the follow-up to their chart-topping 2009 record “21st Century Breakdown.”

Earlier this month, Armstrong was rushed to a hospital in Bologna, Italy, for an undisclosed ailment just before the band was to perform there.

It was unclear what type of substance abuse drove drove Armstrong to seek treatment.

In 2003, he was arrested for drunken driving in Berkeley, Calif.
