No. Non Contact inuries when planting/cutting generally don't turn out well though.

he tore something.. but it was good that he was able to walk off the field..maybe mcl and not acl?

I tore my ACL in high school football. I walked off the field. Limped, but walked. I was actually able to participate in baskeball for a week or so before going to the Doctor for an MRI. ACL's can affect everyone differently, but ACL's matter more in lateral movement then straightforward movement. If he blew out his patellar tendon on the other hand, probably wouldn't have walked off.

If I had to guess I'd say it's an ACL, but MCL is also possible.

i tore my patella tendon.. if he tore that he'd be carted off.. the replay looks like a ligament tear

Seen plenty of people with torn ACL's walk off the field...

Usually no contact is meniscus problems. Irritation or a tear. The way he walked off, it may be just that he irritated it. Hope so. Go Jets Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had ACL/MCL too, when I saw his face thought that's what he had. I hope it's just a hyperextension.

Jenkins walked off twice with torn ACLs.

You can walk or limp with a torn ACL. Like the other poster said, it effects lateral movement and stability.

You will hear tonight that X-Rays were inconclusive and that he will have to wait on the results of an MRI tomorrow, then tomorrow we will probably hear he is out for the year, sorry but non-contact knee injuries dont usually have a happy ending
