Check AT&T LTE coverage map for availability. LTE is the best thing about the 5 but limited coverage right now and the phone sniffing for it every 10 seconds doesn't help. Try your phone in Manhattan on LTE you'll be blown away.

My approach is to actually leave LTE Off in Settings most of the time. If I need to do something data intensive (watch video, large file download, etc.) I'll switch it on.

I have LTE coverage in most places I go in Phoenix/Scottsdale and Los Angeles, but 3G coverage is still more prevalent with fewer "dark spots" and for the things my phone is doing most of the time (retrieving email, etc.) 3G works fine so I'm just leaving it in that mode.

I was in NYC today for a party and was constantly updating my fantasy stats via LTG. Lightning fast.

You try the panorama feature in the camera yet?

I use Photosynth for panos right now...

Tried it today at the Cardinals - Eagles game. Pretty cool. I'll post the pic later.

Not yet. My adventures today weren't really worthy of it.

LTE rocks, my iPad 3 is fantastic in the city.

But at home (no LTE yet), I toggle LTE off and get markedly better battery life.

First attempt at a Panorama on iPhone 5 yesterday. Pretty cool but not without quirks (see the dude in the lower left with two faces!)

Nice!!

Despite the couple of anomalies...quite impressive! Nice camera on the 5.

The "stitching" on the shots above and below each other in the panorama app I have seems to be the biggest issue. The built in feature on your phone in pretty impressive.

A great shot indeed. Really conveys the depth that your see when you're actually there...

That stadium's one awesome piece of engineering, too.

It is. Very fun place to see a game, although the parking sucks....or atleast it did for us on Sunday. Took the whole fam...wife (an Eagles fan), 7 yr old, 3 yr old and lasted the entire game without an issue. Proud of my little girl...it was loud in there!

As for the panorama, I think the minor artifacting and slight visibility of seams is due to my less that perfectly steady hand. The phone gives you and arrow that you're supposed to keep level at a center line as you pan across the field of view. As the arrow goes above or below the line you try to move back to center as you're panning. It'll take a little practice to figure out but definitely cool. Oh, and the full picture file size...11.6MB. lol
