LOL. Mixing religion, politics and a lousy football team (allegedly) is a dangerous brew. Frankly, Woody is a dumba$$ for getting trapped in such a discussion. Somewhat Romneyesque. |

Not really about to debate politics with you nor do I care what you think of my priorities. But IMO, as an owner you either dont answer that question, or you come up with something a little more clever. I want the owner of my football team to eat, sleep, breathe, and bleed this team or at least ACT like he does. Hell, most fans do... |

I dont think Woody's presence is relevant to the teams success, or in our case lack of success. IMO, the owner should be as far away as possible from the day to day operation of the team.
The best thing he can do for the team, is hire a good football guy to take care of the football dept of the company. If he feels the need to be hands on, then he should be hands on where he belongs, in the front office. He could put together some cool licensing deals, sell advertising for the team, get sponsors etc. Anything related to the business side, is perfect for him, BUT NOT THE FOOTBALL SIDE!!!! |

Woody: I'd rather BOTH Obama and the Jets Win!
Woody Johnson said today that he'd rather Mitt Romney win and the Jets have a losing season.
Well, that's a double loss. If Romney was born on third base, Woody was born sliding into home. He needs to realize that a lot of diehard Jet fans are part of the 47% who Mitt doesn't care about. Fireman, policeman, teachers, all of them..... Even if Robert Kraft would agree for the Patriots to take a dive if Mitt won, I wouldn't accept it. |

Either Romney or Obama could help our team. Just try to tackle a guy who's being protected by armed secret service agents. Touchdown every time.

Woody Johnson is a bigger corporate douche than I ever expected. I will not contribute one dime to anything connected to him.

I said this weeks ago. It's not what he thinks or who he supports. It's the fact that his fans shouldn't have to hit over the head with this. We turn to football to avoid **** like this and he should know that and respect that football and politics don't belong in the same conversation.

F u Woody. No wonder we are losers. Support for Romney (worst presidential candidate in decades) just confirms that you really have no clue how to make good decisions. This ship is sinking quickly! |
