Rex took ideas from assistant coaches this week. He adopted OL Dave DeGuglielmo's idea of adding 8-min period of base runs. First teams

That 8-minute tackling period didn't include live tackling. Session addressed 2 problem areas: run offense and run defense

It is scary to think that he wouldn't think of that on his own. However, I think this is more of Rex giving his coaches a plug.

Of course Rex can come up with ways to fix the problems on his own. Or can he?

Thats kind of tough when its:

1st and 10 : Greene for 3

2nd and 7 : Powell for 2

3rd and 5 : Sanchez gets ball batted at LOS, or the reciever runs the "wrong route" and Sanchez delivers the ball 3 yards behind him at his ankles.
