He's taking a bit of a break i'm sure. The tiny things can get to some of us. Let's cut the guy some slack and not sweat the small stuff. There is no need to belittle him.

Now we shouldn't be attacking Stokes. He's not here to defend himself.

The worst part of this mess is we are no longer having the Hampur Reunion at the Stokes palace.

It will now be at 32Green's place... where we'll all stand on the mildew soaked carpet by the leaky washing machine, while staring at the wall where the PC Richards TV used to be.

At least we won't have to worry about the beer selection. It wall all be Coors Light. Perhaps even a party ball.

Huh? Why should his bad behavior be rewarded in such a fashion? If I knew that was the incentive to return, I would have left long ago. Of course, if it was me, I'd be offered a slice of Milos the cleaning guy.

There's no carpet in the laundry room, MOngo. Besides, I now have a new washing machine sitting next to the broken one (part still on order, btw...about two months now)...the broken ones on a dollie and when they finally fix it, I'm keeping it as a spare. No more laundromats for me.

One breaks, just wheel over the other one.

New power board just came for the TV, seventy bucks. Hope it works.

We can always have the reunion at your cabin and watch you take a sponge bath in a giant metal tub. Oh the joy.

Is that kinda like having the working TV on top of the broken one?

Yeah.....you might be a redneck.

I hope Stokes is relaxing by the pool with a drink in hand and some great BBQ on the grill -- though it might be too late in the season for the pool.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt here, despite what Crossfire showed otherwise. But know this; what you wrote could easily read another way:

"I desperately took on a project doomed to fail in the hopes of possibly sniffing some tail. When it (predictably) didn't work out, I agreed to "store" the abominations in my gayrage. Despite my knowing a great deal about the subject and holding numerous examples, I tell myself I am NOT a collector."
