I would think that should be expected with the injuries at WR and TE and an incompetent running game. You are forced to try everything you can to create plays.

These guys practice day in and day 1 to catch balls, run routes, and get their feet in. I don't know how Rex believes you can just plug in some guy that has athleticism and replace all the skill necessary to play the position.

Because if Sanchez puts the ball where it's supposed to be, Cromartie would have made the catch.

Right... so we should have sent Hill out to let it bounce off his hands, or Kerley to get out muscled and picked off. Cromartie may very well be the best receiver on the team right now... doesn't mean he's good, but he might be the best we have.

And for what it's worth... Tebow has been more accurate tonight than the "real" quarterback

Yes there is. It's exactly what Manning did. It's not a penalty in the NFL to do it, but it is supposed to be called a penalty when you make contact with the receiver without locating the ball.

Just because it's allowed to face guard someone, doens't mean it doesn't exist.

Throw looked good to me. If it was a receiver they would be mindful of getting their feet down.
