How perfect is it that Raul was pinch-hitting for A-Rod? Lol

Depends. What's A Rod's contract situation next year and beyond?

Someone please start a "Yankees playoff thread without Ernie-the-depressing-obsessed-Mets-winning-comes-second-to-Yankee-hating, A-Rod needs a celebrity girlfriend" thread.

Thanks.

Well technically Mariano was in the dugout.

Absolutely killer loss for the Orioles. It was tough sleeping last night! I've been an Orioles fan since 1974 and this was one of the worst.

Sports are cruel. At tonight's Steelers-Titans game, Cameron Diaz will feed popcorn to Raul Ibanez.

I feel for you man. That was brutal. If the shoe was on the other foot I wouldn't have slept much either.

The Orioles have a good fan base and they have a very good young team so no matter what happens this series, I think they will be contenders. But this series is far from over.

Hughes on the mound tonight. That's like 3 Oriole HRs right there. I'm expecting the first high scoring game of the series. 11-7, type score. My gut says Orioles force a Game 5. Too resilient to go out tonight.

If Jeter DH's tonight or doesn't play at all... Jayson Nix in his career is 3 for 9 against Joe Saunders with 3 home runs.

Interesting. Thought we'd see Nunez but that might change things. Wonder if Girardi will even manage tonight.
