Especially against RHP. He was just helpless up there.

Girardi has an obligation to give the team a chance and Alex wasn't even putting the ball in play.

Hopefully the bats start to wake up a little. Can't expect out pitchers to do this against Detroit.

CC was huge. Saved the bullpen tonight. Robertson and Soriano are both rested for tomorrow. Huge game. Need to win the non-Verlander games.

First of all, CC is an animal. What a performance. You can tell he loves this stage. Great win.

I'm so happy to see Granderson turn it around. They really, really need his bat to produce. That 3rd run was HUGE.

And I'm totally with you on Swisher. He just doesn't produce in October. Start Ichiro in RF, Ibanez in LF. Swish's body of work speaks for itself -- and it's not a small sample size -- he is not a playoff hitter.
